Definitely the most awesome show after years! A bit McGyver-ish, I think. Problems’ solution primarily involved all kinds of know-how in engineering, psychology, chemistry, and politic. So very COOL! The story plot was also gripping until the last episode.
When Lincoln Burrows (Purcell) got framed for the murder of the Vice President’s brother, his engineering-genius brother, Michael Scofield (Miller), decided to construct an escape plan for him. When I said “construct” you’d really have to picture everything in details, in the true sense of the word; not only Michael examined every little bit of the maximum-security house that imprisoned Lincoln (the blue print up to the pipes, screws’ type, etc), he also researched the people who might be essential to the escape plan (fellow prisoners, the warden, the doctors, etc). Brilliant.
To succeed, Michael himself had to carry out the plan, so he intentionally committed an armed robbery, fire his guns, and then surrendered himself to the police. He was convicted, charged with every violation he had anticipated to get him the “permission” to be jailed in his brother’s prison. He brought along his plan on him, literally, on his body, in a form of tattoos covering his entire upper body. But living and surviving in prison was a challenge of its own without trying to apply any kind of plan. My unforgettable scene: when Michael lost two of his toes with the big steel cutter.
Really, you can trust me on this one: you should watch it for yourself!!!
