Persona: F4

"Oh mi GODDD!!!" You must've screamed when you see this gibberish posting. HAHAHA. Or perhaps you're one of those people--like yours truly, of course--who were madly in love with these boys about six/five years ago. I mean, please... at that time, it seemed that everybody, and I mean everybody had saw Meteor Garden. F4 stood for Flower Four was Tao Ming Tse, Hua Ce Lai, Xi Men, and Mei Cuo. Or in the real life were Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Zhu, and Vaness Wu.

I was on the rows of women who were helplessly in love with Tao Ming Tse—not Jerry Yan, but the character he played on that drama. Okay, okay, might as well admit it, I was in love with him, with Jerry Yan! There, I’ve said it and cleared my conscience. I saw the Japanese version of Meteor Garden (Hana Yori Dango) but still like his Tao Ming Tse's version better. Oh my… just look at the hair!

Of course after a while my love shifted to Vic Chou, after watching The Poor Prince. I remember feeling dreamy and weak on the knees when seeing him put the handsome melancholic face of his or hearing him sing with his husky-rather-low voice. Huahahaha. Those were the dark ages, I guess. Boy, I was really in love; I even went and saw their concert in Jakarta!

I also remember being rather violent to Vaness Wu. He played Mei Cuo in MG, and I always joked around about him maybe having too much caffeine or some sort, cause he never seemed to be able to stand still; too eager to show his American-hiphop-I’m sooo cool image. The funny thing is, I think he’s the one who grew nicely during the years. He looked great now with the short haircut and more solemn attitude. Never did have much emotion for Ken Zhu. Though my sister and a friend--yes, you know who you are, hehehe---were (are still maybe??) his big fans.

Why after all this time, this posting came? you may asked. I was cleaning my computer’s hard drives and found a mountain of F4’s images in there. I even have two of their video clip: Season of Firewoks and Can’t Lose You saved in it also. And made some sort of graphics’ collage from that video clip. Here it goes….

Ergo, the nostalgic mood… So who's your favorite F4? ;-p
