TV Series: Dawson's Creek Season 3

This season was undoubtedly my favorite!! Why? You may ask. Because in this season Joshua Jackson got so many lines that almost made this show changed its title into Pacey’s Creek ;-p In this season, Pacey (Jackson) discovered that he’s falling in love with Joey (Holmes), the one girl he shouldn’t have fall for.

After the rocky relationship he and Joey were having in the end of Season 2, Dawson (Van Der Beek) asked his best friend Pacey to take care his supposedly soul mate, Joey. 'Cause even though Joey was showing some eagerness to come back into the relationship, Dawson didn’t feel the same. His mind was much more occupied by the identity crisis he’s facing.

Pacey on the other hand, seemed to have lost the object of his affection after Andy cheated on him during the summer. While had the chance in exploring a new arrangement of casual sex with Jen (Williams), the pact didn’t last too long. The two of them finally admit that there was just no spark between them. But this arrangement certainly made the two of them closer, Pacey even got the chance to share his wisdom when dealing with parents: “The moment we found out that our parents were just humans that had problems and potentially more screw up than we are, was definitely liberating…” Hence, it was Jen who first noticed how devoted Pacey was in doing his "job": taking care of Joey.

I swear Pacey was every girl’s dream in a guy. Understanding, caring, supporting, never trying to tie you down but help you to fly, instead… His character was totally too good to be true, and almost impossible to find in a 16 years old guy! But at least it gave us the chance to shriek in adoration. “Owww, Paceeeeyy…!!!” Hahaha.

The scene when he spent all night just sitting by the fire looking at Joey’s sleeping face. The scene when he’s gazing at Joey when she kissed AJ (Joey’s newest love interest, a college guy). His pondering face when he tried to tell Joey how he feels; an impossible love because he could never “steal” his best friend’s girl. His agony expression when watching Joey and Dawson together, knowing how the two of them had such a history. So swettttt… I couldn’t hold the tears when he held Joey in his arms when they were dancing at junior prom. “Oh, why does this feel so right…?” he asked in a whisper.

How could someone act like that? How I felt his aches. And this is just a TV Series! You know… not some festival designated movie. Joshua Jackson, you rock!

Anyway, taking back the memory lane by watching this series reminded me once more why I had been such a faithful viewer for it back when I was a university student: the profoundly deep dialogues, the story, and of course, the casts—especially a particular guy you already know who ;-p
